Good morning everyone,

How to create a successful band? Now, that wouldn’t be hard for you with these tips. You should be definitely interested in music and then figure out which music genre you actually want to play and establish the “look” and the name. The most of bands have at least four members. Make sure everyone in the band are friends. When you have selected musical instruments you should start to practise. The results of your work won’t be immediate so you’ll have to be patient. It is better to write songs about your feelings or something you know well. When your band finally writes a song you should put it on the internet for example on YouTube, Myspace or even Facebook. But remember that your songs won’t be for everybody and you’ll have to be able to accept criticism. When responses are mostly positive, that’s great and the first step "how to be famous" is completed! With next songs continue with the same way. Then you can organise your first small gigs where you can sell your CD. The public will definitely remember you and your band become more popular. Make a music video is a great idea, as well. After some time you can also sell your merchandise with your logo. I bet that these steps will definitely make your band popular with millions of fans, your own concerts, discography and many awards.

I will never forget...

Hello my dear friends,

I will never forget the time when I attended the Secondary School of Tourism in Pardubice. I had been excited since the end of primary school because I expected that it will be something different and awesome than before. And it really was! I just wished to be a part of this school because I wanted to travel and learn some foreign languages, for example Spanish.

Whole four years were unforgettable because I’ve met a lot of new interesting and extraordinary people who wanted to enjoy these days, as well and for the first time I truly felt in love there. My classmates were amazing people and I really liked them. Every trip to France, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands was unique!
Teachers were important, as well because they wanted to be helpful and pleasant to us. Of course that sometimes they were disagreeable but they tried to do their best and gave us a lot of knowledge.

These years ended with phenomenal Maturita Ball and luckily with the successful school leaving exam. Me and my classmates are trying to find some free time to make a reunion party. I’m really glad that I had this opportunity to study there.
I miss these days and maybe I would like to have some time machine to return back. I will always remember these four years only in good way because as I said - I will never forget.

Me & Music

Hello everybody,

My topic for this week is about music. I would like to tell you how music influences my life. In fact, music influences our lives since childhood. I guess that most of people have heard lullabies from their parents to fall asleep. 

Nowadays, I can’t imagine my life without music. I need to listen every day for example when I go to school, to the city and so on. Music describes my feelings and sometimes I can find myself in the lyrics of the songs. 
My favourite genres are rock and indie but it's not a big problem to listen to something else except of rap. Luckily, I know a lot of bands and I’m very excited when I found some new band that sounds perfect to me. 
I have been visiting music festivals since 2009. My favourite festival is Rock for People in Hradec Králové. Every year is really successful because a lot of my favourite bands visited this festival. This year, I have an unforgettable experience because I took a photo with guitarist from the band called Foals and actually it’s one of my favourite bands! I’m already looking forward to next year.

Maybe in the near future I would like to buy an electric guitar and start to play covers of my favourite songs but there is one huge problem. I can't sing!

Social Networks

Hello my friends,

this week I would like to describe my opinion about social networks. Obviously each of us once have heard about Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or such others networks. But what is the purpose of social networks? We can chat with people; add photos which express our happiness, inform about events that we attend and many other things. But sometimes it can be really ridiculous what people add on these social websites. For example someone adds too many information about their privacy or privacy of their friends or family and that’s wrong because in the world are people who can misuse your personal life. And you should never add to your friend list a person you don’t know.
I don’t want to be only negative. I’m using also Facebook or Twitter for chatting with friends. But there is another dimension of social networks. I can receive much information about my favourite bands, sport teams, about current situations or problems in the world. For example when were riots in England two years ago, we could obtain unique photos and news from the place of riots. Yes, the first thing when I come from outside is to check Facebook. I think that many people do this, as I do.

People should spend more time outside not sitting in front of the computer screen. Social networks can be useful but sometimes can ruin your real life.
