Well, this
JCA1 course was totally different than last year for me. This year we had to
record our assignments instead of writing but it was interesting and funny
sometimes. I hope that these recordings have improved my level of English. My
pronunciation is definitely better. I can also recognise differences between American
and British English, as well. The funniest assignments were when we supposed to
create a dubbing of our favourite TV shows and series because we had to use
there the speed, rhythm, intonation in exact same way. Next unusual method is
that our teacher brought guitar and our whole class sang with him songs. We
were surprised how good he is! We sang Christmas carols at last meeting and
dubbed TV series called Friends. The most hilarious individual task was when I
used tongue twisters because they are really difficult and I just wanted to
practise those things! We practised linking words, word stress, strong and weak
forms. But as I mentioned before, these things improved my language and
pronunciation and I hope that I will use these tricks and knowledge at the final
test. I know that sometimes it was a little bit annoying but I tried to do my
best.
Yeah, but
final test is coming quickly again and this is my second chance to fix last unsuccessful
year. So it’s really important to be successful this time. I hope it’s going to
be OK. I can fail, but these experiences will not be ever taken from me.
I’m glad
to be there and I would like to finish my journey.
Thanks
for your time!
